A brief introduction to Islamic Philosophy that I am enjoying more than Henry Corbin book " history of Islamic philosophy " This is probably due to the writing style of the author : it is more concise, straight forward and structured. Also, the author is Muslim which avoids the theories of the orientalists saying that Islamic philosophy took inspiration from the Greeks and didn't bring anything to the philosophy...
The book presents each philosopher in a separate chapter, that makes the reading more easy and practical.
I highly recommend this book to Muslims or non Muslims as it shows the impact of the Islamic Philosophy in the western philosophy, it show the link between Greek and Islamic philosophy and the fascinating theories of each philosopher.
